I feel the tide rising.

It swells within me.

I can not stop it.

I see the current.

It asks to lead.

I follow.

I feel it tow me under.

It shows no mercy.

I let go, let it pull me, let it push me. 

I feel the air leave my lungs.

It is quiet.

I hear it calling.

My soul stirs.

Will I listen?
